Delete your account

Applies to the Wellness by Rishman Android app (package com.wellnessbyrishman.app). Last updated 14 September 2026.

You can have your account, and everything the app has stored against it, deleted at any time. There is no delete button inside the app: deletion is carried out by hand, on request, by the person who runs the practice. This page is the whole procedure.

In three steps

  1. In the app, tap the round Account icon at the top right, then Account identifier. Long-press it to copy.
  2. Email hbabade@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Wellness by Rishman account” and paste the identifier into the message.
  3. Wait for the reply that confirms it is done. Then uninstall the app.

1. Find your Account identifier

The app never asks you to create a username or password. Tapping Get Started creates an anonymous account: a long identifier held on your phone, with no login attached. That identifier is the only handle the account has. The first name and email address you typed in are stored against it as contact details, but they are not a login and cannot prove the account is yours from anywhere else. So a deletion request has to quote the identifier — and the app shows it to you for exactly this purpose.

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the round Account icon at the top right. It is on every main screen — Today, Plans, Challenges, Nutrition and Progress.
  3. Under ACCOUNT, tap Account identifier.
  4. The identifier appears beneath the row: 36 characters of letters, numbers and hyphens. Long-press it to copy.

Treat the identifier as private. It is shown only on the device that holds the account, so a request that quotes it is taken as coming from you.

2. Send the request

Email hbabade@gmail.com and include the identifier. A suggested subject is “Delete my Wellness by Rishman account”. Nothing else is needed — no reason, no form, and no proof of identity beyond the identifier itself.

If you would rather write your own message, the address and the identifier are all that matter.

3. What happens next

  • The request is read and carried out by Hrishikesh Babade, who runs Wellness by Rishman — by hand, not by an automated system. It is not instant.
  • You get a reply to the address you wrote from once it is done.
  • Deletion is permanent. There is no undo and nothing to recover afterwards. If you want a copy of your data first, ask for it in the same email and it is sent before anything is removed.
  • The deletion reaches our database, not your phone. Once you have the confirmation, uninstall the app or clear its data to remove what is held on the device.

4. What is deleted

Everything stored against the account. Every table below hangs off the account itself, so removing the account removes the rest with it:

  • Your profile — first name, the email address you gave, your answer to “sex for calculations”, and, if you entered them, year of birth, height and weight, along with the BMI figure the app worked out from them.
  • Training preferences — goal, experience level, where you train, your equipment, days per week, session length and, if you set one, your activity level.
  • Workout and challenge progress — every challenge and plan you started, each day or workout you marked done, and every set and rep you logged.
  • Habits — every entry you logged and any daily target you set for yourself.
  • Daily activity and how you felt — steps and sleep, whether typed in or read from Health Connect, and your energy and soreness answers.
  • Nutrition — the meals and single foods, with their quantities, you logged for each day in the Nutrition planner.
  • All Access — the record that unlocked All Access on this account: the product identifier, the purchase token Google issued, its status and its dates. After deletion nothing in our system remembers the purchase, so do not request deletion if you want to keep using All Access on this account.
  • The account itself — the anonymous account in the authentication system, and every backend row keyed to it.

Health Connect. The app only ever reads from Health Connect; it writes nothing there. Deleting your account removes our copy of the steps and sleep it read. It does not touch Health Connect on your phone — that data is yours, held by Android — and you can withdraw the app’s permission in Android Settings under Health Connect at any time, before or after.

If you are a coaching client — a client of Hrishikesh’s with a sign-in of your own — the same request also removes your coaching record: profile and contact details, engagement, programme, workout logs, body measurements, recovery entries, weekly check-ins, nutrition plan and selections, messages with your coach, and scheduled sessions. You do not need the identifier: write from the email address on your account, or message your coach in the app.

5. What may remain

We keep no copy of your rows after deletion. Three things sit outside it:

  • Google Play’s record of a purchase. All Access is sold and charged by Google, not by us. Google keeps its own transaction records under its own terms; we cannot delete them, and they were never in our database. We hold no card or billing details at all.
  • The email about your request. It stays in the mailbox as the record that you asked and that it was done.
  • Anything the law requires. If a legal or accounting obligation requires a particular record to be kept — of a refund, for instance — the minimum required is kept for as long as that obligation applies, and nothing else.

No fixed retention period is stated here because none is enforced by the system today. Stating one would not make it true.

6. Uninstalling is not deleting

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, removes the identifier from your phone. The rows in the database stay where they are — unreachable, since nothing else points at them, but not erased. If you want them gone, request deletion before you uninstall, while the app can still show you the identifier.

If you have already uninstalled. Write to hbabade@gmail.com from the email address you typed into the app when you set it up, and say so. We will look for an account that carries that address. If none does, there is nothing we can find to delete, and we will tell you that.
